I have upgraded this weblog to WordPress 2.0.3, as I hope this will solve some of the problems with the strange supplemental index pages at google. B.t.w. WP 2.0.4 will be released soon, after the big bug hunt starting at 4.th of July which is named Bug Independence Day.
After the simple change to Permalinks did not work as expected, the Permalink Redirect from Scott Yang has to show its qualities.
This plugin ensures that pages and entries are always accessed via the permalink. Otherwise, a 301 redirect will be issued.
I am sure this will solve the duplicate content problem.
Looks strange to me. A site-search via Google shows a lot of supplemental results in the Google Index. I expected that after the change to permalinks Google would spider and index the new urls. But till now there are only the old urls listed. Strange.
